Teaching Methodology at The Shri Ram Schools

At The Shri Ram Schools (TSUS), we prioritize a child-centric approach to education, emphasizing interactive and experiential learning. Our teaching methodology is grounded in the latest advancements in educational research and incorporates innovative practices to meet the diverse needs of our students. As a CBSE-curriculum school in Jaipur, we understand that each child learns differently, and therefore, a one-size-fits-all approach is not suitable. Our educators carefully select a combination of strategies tailored to each student’s unique learning style.

Our teachers act as facilitators, guiding students through their learning journey using a variety of methods, including activities, audio-visual aids, projects, and presentations. By providing hands-on learning experiences, we aim to connect academic concepts to real-life applications, fostering critical thinking and awareness.

Elementary School

The Elementary curriculum (PK to Grade II) is play-based and child-centered, emphasizing creativity. The essence of the curriculum is to enable our tiny tots to become independent both socially and emotionally. Therefore, a typical day includes both free play indoors and outdoors, along with structured activities. Indoor activities include role play, seasonal learning, art, discovery, and wonder time. Various celebrations and learning journeys are integrated to make learning enjoyable and hands-on.

Primary School

In Primary School (Grades III to V), basic skills are introduced in all subjects to challenge students and stimulate their interest through experiential learning and real-life applications. Extracurricular activities are an integral part of our classrooms, playing a vital role in shaping well-rounded students by fostering essential skills, building confidence, and instilling a love for learning that extends beyond the classroom setting. Shriites experience the joy of learning, gain a deep understanding of important concepts, develop research & referral skills, and learn to accept responsibility for their actions, decisions, and outcomes.

Middle School

Middle School covers three years (Grades VI-VIII) during which the skills in all subjects are enhanced and higher level skills are introduced to challenge students and stimulate their interest. Through our specially designed teaching strategies, students experience the joy of learning, gain a deep understanding of important concepts, learn to take responsibility for their decisions and outcomes, and are mentored by well-trained facilitators. A rich and varied Co-Scholastic programme at TSUS includes hands on experiential science experiments, robotics with embedded AI along with question papers on Ei Cares.

Secondary School

Secondary School at TSUS, Jaipur covers Grades IX and X, which is a crucial stage of growth where students sharpen their skills, deepen their understanding, and develop independence. At this level, they are encouraged to explore subjects in greater depth, identify their areas of interest, engage in research and inquiry, and take ownership of their learning. Our dedicated teachers act as mentors, guiding each student to recognise and build on their strengths.
A comprehensive Career Counselling Programme helps students discover future pathways, while community outreach, guest lectures, and a wide range of co-curricular activities broaden their horizons and nurture holistic development. We are committed to preparing every student with the knowledge, skills, and values they need – not only to achieve academic excellence but also to grow into responsible, confident citizens ready to contribute meaningfully to society.

Senior Secondary School
