Teaching Methodology at The Shri Ram Schools
At The Shri Ram Schools (TSUS), we prioritize a child-centric approach to education, emphasizing interactive and experiential learning. Our teaching methodology is grounded in the latest advancements in educational research and incorporates innovative practices to meet the diverse needs of our students. As a CBSE-curriculum school in Jaipur, we understand that each child learns differently, and therefore, a one-size-fits-all approach is not suitable. Our educators carefully select a combination of strategies tailored to each student’s unique learning style.
Our teachers act as facilitators, guiding students through their learning journey using a variety of methods, including activities, audio-visual aids, projects, and presentations. By providing hands-on learning experiences, we aim to connect academic concepts to real-life applications, fostering critical thinking and awareness.
Pre-Primary School
The Pre-Primary stage, covering Nursery, LKG and UKG introduces children to a structured learning environment. This play-based, child-centered curriculum is designed to recognize and nurture the multiple intelligences of each student, encouraging creativity and imaginative thinking. A typical day at the Pre-Primary level balances free play (both indoors and outdoors) with structured learning time. Activities include Dramatic Play, Sensorial Learning, Role Play, Art, and Discovery Hour/Wonder Time, all aimed at fostering early development in a fun and engaging way.
Primary School
The Primary School spans Grades I to V and focuses on further developing foundational skills while introducing higher-level concepts to challenge and stimulate students. The curriculum fosters exploration, encourages the development of strong language skills, promotes a clear understanding of mathematical concepts, and deepens students’ knowledge of scientific principles. In addition to traditional learning, students engage in a variety of enriching activities such as drama, storytelling, poetry, music, IT, discussions, and hands-on artistic projects.
Middle School
In the Middle and Senior School years, students continue to experience the joy of learning while gaining a deeper understanding of essential concepts. They develop research and experimental skills and begin to take responsibility for their actions, decisions, and outcomes. The curriculum includes not only core academic subjects but also a rich range of co-scholastic activities, such as exchange programs, educational trips, and community service, ensuring a holistic education.
